Further to our recent posts in relation to the games this weekend at Mott Street, Enoggera, the Mayne Tigers and Coorparoo Kings wish to highlight the great work of Legacy in providing services to Australian families suffering after the injury or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. They currently care for around 65,000 widow(er)s and 1,800 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.
Legacy volunteers will be attending the day and will be seeking charitable donations as well as providing some valuable information about their services and the need to support them. All services that they deliver are financed through funds raised from charitable activities.
The Mayne and Coorparoo Football Clubs have established a dedicated funding page for this weekend’s charity game through the Legacy website. Members of both clubs are encouraged to make a tax deductible donation through this site in direct support of Legacy.
